Namma Ooru Sarkarashalai

Training on “Basics of Computer technology” for government School children was the main agenda of the day. Students of class 5,6 and 7 of Hulimavu government school (Namma Ooru Sarkarashalai) attended the programme .Students of BGS NPS were “Little mentors” for the students of Government School. BGS students with the help of teachers taught them different parts of the computer,they helped them to create new folders in their name.Students also taught them to draw in Ms paint and save the file in their folders. They learnt different tools to draw pictures with the help of their little mentors. All the students drew pictures and saved their work in their folders.It was a great learning experience for both mentors and mentees.. 

Model Primary Government School 

Training on “Basics of Computer technology” for government School children was the main agenda of the day. The Model Children were brought to our school to teach them about switching on and off the system, what is a monitor, mouse, C.P.U, keyboard, its controls and its uses?, They also learnt to create folders, recognise icons, basics about painting and its features. Students painted beautiful images, had a lot of grace in them and told us that they loved painting.
