Climate eduXchange
ICT has become a necessity and a way of life in most of the schools in India. ICT tools provide opportunities to students to build their capacity on technical skills and are a major catalyst to bridge the digital divide amongst students of various socio economic and other geographical barriers.
To consider recent advances in ICT technology and its potential in ESD, TERI in partnership with Dell Global Giving initiated Project Climate EduXchange in 2009. The project aims at harnessing the power of ICT (Information, Communication and Technology) to reach out to students and teachers on key issues related to Climate Change and to touch upon lives of those categories of schools which have minimal access to technology.

Under this project our school started SAARTHI Programme. Saarthi is a school mentorship programme that will encourage the more empowered schools to mentor the lesser privileged schools on the grounds of spreading awareness on the issues of Environment conservation and related topics. The Saarthi Schools also facilitates in teaching learning process and encourage usage of ICT tools within the campus.
Vision
We want to prepare a generation of young people across the globe to connect by helping them learn how and when to use technology; gain access to the right technology resources; and understand how to unleash each individual’s unique potential through technology.
